Slim Goody Sports Bar: The Ultimate Sports Viewing Experience in Ballard

Slim Goody is a sports bar in the Old Ballard area with a bunch of TVs and inviting atmosphere. Parking here is always a pain so be prepared to park a few blocks away and walk. They have about a half a dozen tables in an outside area with a TV, a bar area with almost a dozen tables with at least 5 TVs and then a front area with booths to sit at with a few TVs as well, with sports always on. The menu here isn't that big, and prices are a bit high for the portions you get. Their food isn't that great, onion rings were just mushy batter with almost no crunch or onion, wings are tiny and have a lemon taste in the Buffalo sauce, and their ranch also has a lemon taste to it. I think they're overcomplicating things thinking people will want fancier food but for a sports bar, they need to step back and get to the basics. The staff is awesome here, and they're always walking around getting you things and joking around. It's pretty clean in here which is nice and they will always be willing to change a TV to a game you want to watch. If they fix the food, they will easily get 5 stars. I'd still go here for a beer or two with friends though, it's a great place to go.

Went to Slim Goody to watch Seahawks game. We got great seating at the bar. The seatings were so cute with colors of greens blues. Honestly super surprised by the food quality. The fried cheese was amazing, it was like mozzarella sticks. Soft but crispy outside! The screen was pretty big to watch game and sound was great. Drinks and food were awesome as well.

This place is great to grab a drink with friends or alone. The food is okay; the drinks are better. The atmosphere is clean and everyone I encountered was friendly (staff and patrons). I would definitely go back

I just moved to Seattle a few months back and it was surprisingly hard to find a sports bar. Luckily I found Slim Goody! This place is amazing for Sundays and any sporting event. The staff is super friendly and remembers you, shoutout Jules, and they do a great job of accommodating fans of all teams on the TVs. One of my top spots in Ballard no question. If you are a sports fan you will love it.

Seattle has been in dire need of a place like this. The atmosphere is awesome, there is no bad seat in the house if you are trying to watch a game, and the vibes are high. What makes the experience even more enjoyable is the staff. My bartender Coco was super friendly, on top of everything, and a blast to hang out with. Get to Slim Goodys, you’ll keep going back.

Legit sports bar in a town that needed it. Everything about this place is great. Atmosphere and staff are top notch and there’s a TV covering every inch of the walls. Menu is a little limited and things aren’t cheap, but the food quality is surprisingly high and the atmosphere is worth the prices. Cheese curds are a must. My go-to spot for any big game now!

Love this place! They have all the sports you want up on the TVs, multiple rooms to hang out in and TWO outdoor patios. The back one has foosball! They also have excellent food, beverages, service and general vibes. Highly recommended.

Excellent vibes! Sports bar without the bro bro bro vibe. Variety of seating and actually good food. Some amazing light too, very natural light in the big u shape bar. Big range of beers, TVs everywhere!
